SAGD is a relatively new method of oil extraction and recovery in Alberta oil and gas\nindustry and the number of new SAGD plants in Alberta is expected to increase within this\ndecade. The paper discusses the interviews finding of benchmarking characteristics of the\nSAGD projects. The research reviewed and analysed definition of capacity, main features, life\ncycle/ phases of SAGD projects and also major risks associated with it. A qualitative research\nmethodology was employed in investigating the characteristics of SAGD projects. Interviews\nwere conducted with industry practitioners, which contained open-ended questions. The\nresult found the definition of capacity of SAGD projects is barrels/day and from the lifecycle\nof SAGD projects procurement/cosntruction phase is 75% of the total project cost while other\nphase in total constiutues the 25% of the total cost of the project. On the schedule prospective,\nprocurement/construction phase constitute the 55% of the total project duration. This method\nhas the potential to contribute to a reduction in cost and schedule overruns and improves\nSAGD project performance. It is concluded that the results of the study will help in achieving\na higher rate of productivity in the Alberta oil and gas industry....

Through promoting positive features about an offered product and through converting bad promotional messages into good ones, the company can attract more\ncustomers and leads into a business. Price penetration strategy and other marketing strategies\ndiscussed that may help companies to maintain their market share in crises situation. The\nresults of the study and the underlying survey identified the key areas of improvement in the\nTurkish investment climate; stating that strong regulatory frameworks, growth of the private\nsector and innovation policies along with employee generation are some recommended\noptions that can go a long way in developing the markets....

The purpose of this study is to determine the management attributes that contribute to the success of women in\nmanagement positions in Northern Kwazulu Natal. This investigation stems from the fact that women are still under\nrepresented in managerial positions within South Africa, both in the public and private sector.
